Meg Camero

Meg Camero has been writing for years, but didn’t “get good” until she went to the University of South Florida, where she graduated twice - once in 2012 with her Bachelor of the Arts in Creative Writing (and a minor in History), and again in 2018 with a Masters in Secondary English Education. A teacher by trade, she currently works at a small, rural library just outside of St. Louis, which explains why she is in the process of obtaining a second Masters in Library Information Science.

Meg writes YA novels, focusing on various topics, to include mental health issues, sexuality, and other aspects of coming of age. Her current favorite books (and inspirations) are Rainbow Rowell’s Fangirl, S.K. Ali’s Saints and Misfits, Scott Westerfeld’s Afterworlds, and Victoria Schwab’s The Archived. When it comes to TV, anything’s fair game - from Kitchen Nightmares to Rick and Morty.

In her free time, Meg can be found drinking way too much coffee, talking to her cat, Ophelia, annoying her children, or screaming at her teammates in Overwatch. If she isn’t doing any of these things, she is most likely in the middle of a Dungeons & Dragons campaign with her girlfriend and her meta.
