Michelle was ordained to the ministry of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in November 2005. She has served congregations in New York, Pennsylvania and in France.
Unique in her field, Michelle is an award-winning wedding officiant, celebrant trainer, preacher and speaker. Her work has been featured in Rock n Roll Bride, Offbeat Bride, H and H Wedding, Green Wedding Shoes, Magnolia Rouge, Trendy Bride, Unconventional Wedding and various other international wedding blogs. Though based in Paris, she travels throughout Europe and the United States to perform ceremonies. She enjoys fully booked wedding seasons in her role as officiant, working with a team of professionals to offer creative and tailored services that reflect the uniqueness of every couple.
Ruffled By Grace: Parisian Wedding Blessings was born from the ashes and tears of her experience within the church. She was not willing to be told how to live out her pastoral call in the world. In the same way, she refused the local church’s restrictions concerning who she could and could not marry. With the conviction that every single soul deserves the right to choose love for themselves, she chose to honor that right becoming an ally and spokesperson for love.
Michelle is married to her high school sweetheart, Kevin. They are the proud parents of two boys, Connor and Marcello, one resident-cat, Aksah, and one foster kitten, Rocky. Michelle is passionate about long distance running and sipping coffee in her favorite Parisian café. Together, the family enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and sharing meals together.
