Nancy Middleton

Nancy's short fiction has appeared in the literary magazine The South Carolina Review. Her author interviews have been published in Glimmer Train, one of which was anthologized in the Writers Ask series. Nancy was also a featured writer at The Clemson Literary Festival in 2011.

Nancy holds degrees in international studies (Russian language minor) from Allegheny College and Georgetown University and has lived and worked in Washington, D.C., and south central Pennsylvania. She has more than fifteen years' experience as a freelance writer and editor, and more recently spent several years teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to the immigrant community.

Although writing is her first love, teaching comes in a close second. A native of snowy Rochester, New York, Nancy now lives in beautiful Monterey, California, where she is nearing completion of her first novel.
