After completing a Masters in Library Science at the University of Toronto, Susan Marshall quickly realized that library work was not a good fit for her disorganized personality. Landing at The Globe and Mail, Susan later taught in the Seneca College Library Technician Program. Following four kids, she took a break from work outside the home, enrolling in writing classes. Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, her first novel NemeSIS (think “sister bully”) was inspired by her estrogen-fuelled household. Susan currently lives in Toronto with her husband, four children, Ben the rescue dog and Indie the cat.
