Willow Verkerk
Willow Verkerk is a philosopher and writer who has taught philosophy, psychoanalysis, and feminist theory in the UK, Europe, and Canada. She has published numerous essays on friendship, love, activism, and gender identity, and is the author of Nietzsche and Friendship (Bloomsbury, 2019). Willow is also an author of short fiction published in literary magazines in Canada and Europe. Dr. Verkerk is frequently invited to speak at universities and art institutions and has done so internationally at places such as the Tate Modern, Goethe Institute Paris, Faculty of Fine Arts, Lisbon, and Chelsea College of Arts, London. She is currently working on two nonfiction books with feminist themes and living on the unceded Coast Salish Territories (Vancouver, Canada).
