Kuljinder is passionate about diverse representation in books and education. She is currently an elementary school teacher in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Her two picture books, My Name Is Saajin Singh and Mandeep’s Cloudy Days, were nominated for the Blue Spruce Award and the Next Generation Indie Book Award, and were joint-winners in the Ontario Library Association’s Best Bets lists. Kuljinder has also made appearances on CBC, OMNI, Citytv, and local radio stations to discuss her books.
