Bob Levin is an award-winning journalist who is currently a features editor at The Globe and Mail. Originally from Philadelphia, he?s worked on newspapers in Oklahoma, Indiana and New Jersey and as a writer at Newsweek in New York before moving to Canada. He was a writer, editor and columnist at Maclean's magazine for twenty years, the last nine as executive editor. He has been nominated for five National Magazine Awards and been part of Globe teams that won two National Newspaper Awards. A graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism in New York, he has written on everything from 9/11 to cancer, George W. Bush to O.J., on Israeli youth, the fall of communism, guns, streets kids, baseball, basketball, hockey, train travel, race in the States, on dual citizenship and the ambivalent common ground between Canadians and Americans. His fiction straddles the border: Away Game,  a baseball-themed novel with an element of magic realism,  moves back and forth in time and place, with stops in New York, Philadelphia, Cooperstown, Toronto and small-town Ohio. Levin now lives in Toronto with his wife and son.
