Chris Gudgeon
Christopher Gudgeon is the bestselling author of twenty-five books spanning literary fiction, poetry, biography, cultural history, and science, and has contributed to a wide range of magazines, including MAD, Playboy, National Lampoon, TV Guide, The Advocate, and Geist.
Christopher is also a Gemini Award–winning screenwriter with dozens of professional credits including creating the smash YTV/HBO Family hit Ghost Trackers and Teletoon’s groundbreaking GeoFreakz franchise.
The Toronto-based writer is an outspoken advocate for the LGBTQ2+ community. He is the founder of It Gets Better Canada, a not-for-profit supporting queer youth across the country, and was instrumental in the fight to ban conversion therapy in Canada.
Christopher’s work has been nominated for Lit Awards, a Leacock Medal, and the CBC Literary Prize. His first poetry collection, Assdeep in Wonder, was a finalist for the 2017 Gerald Lampert Memorial Award.
