Jackie Oeser Munn is an Army Brat, West Point graduate, and veteran from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, turned writer and nurse practitioner. She was amongst the first women selected to serve alongside Special Forces in Afghanistan before women were officially authorized for such units and roles. After the Army, she became a nurse practitioner and served on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic as a contact tracer and vaccinator. She writes about the military, medicine, and motherhood.
