Jan Pippins, a former sheriff's deputy and ex-clinical social worker, lives in Louisiana with her long-suffering husband/beta reader/farm hand, Mike. They share their home with five horses, six sheep, four cats and a dog. Jan's first published book (nonfiction), won several awards including Readers Favorite Gold for best biography, and was translated into Spanish.
