Born and raised on Australia’s east coast, now living in Portland, OR, Kiara has always been deeply inspired by her environment. As a working florist and photographer, she learned to connect with her external world by finding beauty and nuance in the mundane. As a writer, she aims to create atmospheric, emotional stories that have a strong sense of place, transporting the reader to a world that can explore complicated emotions with familiarity.
