Kodie's debut novel, BIRDS IN THE BLACK WATER (2022), was shortlisted in the Braun Book Awards and a finalist in the IndiesToday and Readers' Favorite Awards. She interned as an editorial assistant with The Rights Factory for 1.5 years and is now actively building her own list. As a member of the Horror Writers Association, she has a passion for dark, speculative fiction and allegorical works.
