Saad T. Farooqi holds an MFA in Creative Writing and a BA in English Literature. One fateful day at age fifteen, he picked up a novel just to impress a girl. While the girl still wasn’t impressed, the novel did inspire Saad to become a writer. Since then, his short stories and poems have appeared in various international magazines. His shining moment on stage was accidentally setting his poem on fire by standing too close to a candle.

When not writing, Saad enjoys boxing, experimenting in the kitchen to varying levels of success, and devouring anything film noir. He currently resides in Canada with the greatest woman in the world.
