Sai Pradhan
Sai Pradhan lives in Hong Kong. She is Indian-American, and has had many homes, including Washington DC, Mumbai, London, New York, Louisville, Shanghai, New Jersey, Pune, Edinburgh, and Los Angeles. Her essays, fiction, reviews, and opinions have been published in journals, press, and magazines like The Iowa Review, The Prairie Schooner, JMWW, Ghost Parachute, and YOLO Journal, amongst many others.
Sai has a BA in International Affairs from George Washington University and a Masters in International Law from the University of Edinburgh. She has also studied at SOAS (University of London) and taken classes with RISD and Harvard Kennedy School’s executive education program. She used to have a corporate and entrepreneurial career, working with companies like Uber and Netflix, and running a search firm. In her early career, she worked as a communications executive with Fenton Communications and Ruder Finn, and as an intern at the World Bank, The Aspen Institute, CBS-TV, and Eurasia Group. Her first job was at a local library in Louisville, Kentucky.
Sai speaks several languages. She also has an art studio practice. Her art is featured in various literary and art journals, has been nominated for prizes (Colours of Humanity, Best of the Net, etc), and is often exhibited with galleries.
