Sarah Nyanhial Tut
Sarah Nyanhial Tut is a South Sudanese-Canadian who moved to Canada as a refugee and young bride at the age of fifteen. A proud Nuer woman, she has raised four children as a single mother in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, all while working as a crisis counsellor and finishing a university degree in sociology and gender studies. Sarah has been recognized for her activism with an Outstanding Black Community Advocate award. She writes poetry, nonfiction, and fiction focused on themes impacting refugees and women.
