Trevor Duplessis

Trevor Duplessis is an awarding-winning Metis actor and writer who's appeared on stage throughout Canada and on TV shows like Blackstone, and movies such as In the World Created By A Drunken God. In 2008, he won the Best Actor Award in the American Indian Movie Awards beating out Adam Beach and Ron Harris. He has an MFA in Fiction from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Sante Fe, New Mexico working with Tommy Orange as his advisor. Trevor is the Department Head, University Studies and Management Programs at Yellowhead Tribal College in Edmonton and  teaches a number of drama courses including at the University of Alberta. A complete blues geek, he plays cigar box guitar.
