Xiao Jing "Iris" Wang
Dr. Xiao Jing (Iris) Wang, MD is an Associate Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is a general gastroenterologist, Associate Program Director of the GI fellowship, and a published author. Her areas of clinical and research interest include Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction (DGBI), including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), functional dyspepsia (FD), and chronic abdominal pain, working on understanding these disorders better and finding solutions using cross-discipline techniques such as gut hypnotherapy and extended reality. In addition to peer review publications, she has a published contributed book chapters to the Mayo Clinic Gastroenterology and Hepatology Board Review (6th edition), Taking Care of You: The Empowered Women’s Guide to Better Health, and is the author of Boo Can’t Poo, a children’s board book on preventing constipation.
