Christina Kilbourne's 40 DAYS IN HICKSVILLE has sold to Barry Jowett at Cormorant Books. This YA novel follows an Urbex Explorer and YouTube celebrity as she and her new friend stumble across critical evidence from a 1980s cold case that they come to discover involves both their families in different ways.

Christina Kilbourne is a 2021 Red Maple Award nominee and author of THE LIMITLESS SKY, coming this spring from Dundurn Press. 40 DAYS IN HICKSVILLE is scheduled for publication in fall 2023.

Strategist with Navigator Ltd. and national political columnist for Postmedia,Tasha Kheiriddin's THE RIGHT PATH: HOW CONSERVATIVES CAN UNITE, INSPIRE AND TAKE CANADA FORWARD has sold to Dean Baxendale at Optimum Publishing.


This new non fiction work is a plan for Canadian conservatives to reinvent themselves, return to power and reinvigorate the country. THE RIGHT PATH combines interviews with prominent conservative voices and personal anecdotes that shaped Tasha Kheiriddin’s political identity and outlook.


"Tasha and I have been talking about this project for years as a major refresh of ideas in her first book,” said The Rights Factory CEO Sam Hiyate. “I'm really delighted to have found the perfect home for it!"


Tasha Kheiriddin previously co-authored RESCUING CANADA'S RIGHT.



Ali Bryan's COQ, a follow-up to the author's debut ROOST, has sold to Kelsey Attard at Freehand Books. COQ is a contemporary family comedy that explores grief, identity, and second chances over the course of an outrageous memorial trip to the city of love.


"Fans that have been with Ali Bryan since her debut novel, ROOST, will be thrilled to revisit Claudia and her family ten years later, and new fans will be thrilled to have more of Ali's writing to binge,” said The Rights Factory agent Stacey Kondla.


COQ is scheduled for publication in spring 2023. Ali Bryan’s previous YA novel, THE HILL, was published in 2021.
