Health and wellness journalist Michelle McIvor’s ALL GLOWN UP has sold to Suzanne Staszak-Silva at Rowman & Littlefield by The Rights Factory agent Kathryn Willms.
This book is a manual in which McIvor interviews experts on topics and then tries their advice to curate simple and effective habits, strategies, and life edits to help women everywhere complete their glow-ups.
“From the moment Michelle presented the idea for this book, I was hooked. All Glown Up covers the topics women discuss when they’re together—things we might worry are frivolous or trivial but definitely care about (disappearing eyebrows, anyone!) but also those that keep us up at night (relationships, creativity, sex, insomnia … overzealous eyebrow tinting). And Michelle is the writer you want on the case. Like Tim Ferris but for women, she was ready to hit up experts, reveal her insecurities, gamely try the advice she got, and track the results,” says TRF agent Kathryn Willms. “What sold this book, though, was her fabulous voice, which is generous, funny, honest, and smart. Reading Michelle is like chatting with a good friend – you feel like she’s got your back and only wants what’s best for you, whether it’s avoiding trendy misinformation, buying art, deciding whether to give up your skinny jeans, or cutting down on the rosé. Looking forward to sharing this book with friends!”
ALL GLOWN UP is set for publication in early 2024.
