SCAREDY CATS by Alexandra West has been sold to Arsenal Pulp Press by Claire Cavanagh.
Blending cultural criticism, film history, and social analysis, SCAREDY CATS explores the complex and evolving role of cats in horror—from ancient mythology to modern cinema. Through nine distinct feline archetypes, the book examines how cats have come to symbolize anxieties around feminism, class structure, immigration, political corruption, and economic inequality.
Represented by Claire Cavanagh at The Rights Factory.
