Ali Bryan's THE CITY and THE MAINLAND, the last two books in The Hill trilogy, have sold to Jennifer Baumgartner at Dottir Press.
In these continuations of acclaimed YA novel THE HILL, the girls’ quest for the Colony and the search for the Mainland continues.

THE HILL was published by Dottir Press in 2021. THE CITY and THE MAINLAND ARE SCHEDULED for publication in Spring 2023 and Spring 2024.
Love seeing Ali Bryan’s Hill trilogy getting a proper ending. The City and The Mainland feel like the kind of YA sequels that let readers grow up alongside Wren—messy choices, brave moments, and all. I read The Hill during a stressful semester, and Wren’s grit hit at the right time. Also, congrats to Dottir Press and the whole team; publishing deals always remind me how many hands lift a story into the world.
