We’re thrilled today to share the news that John Jennings and Charlotte Greenbaum at Megascope have acquired THE RESURRECTIONISTS from Sam Hiyate of The Rights Factory by author Ho Che Anderson.
Author/Illustrator of KING and GODHEAD, Ho Che Anderson’s new graphic novel, THE RESURRECTIONISTS, about a young woman in NYC circa 1870 who joins a group of grave robbers who sell corpses to medical schools and finds that contact with the dead triggers a latent ability to bring the dead back to life, illustrated by Jeremy Love, to John Jennings and Charlotte Greenbaum at Megascope, a line of books under the Abrams ComicArts imprint, by Sam Hiyate at The Rights Factory representing Anderson (world).
Born in London, England, and raised in the wilds of Scarborough in Toronto, Ho Che Anderson was named after the Vietnamese and Cuban revolutionaries Ho Chi Minh and Che Guevara. Anderson is the author of numerous graphic novels, including King, a biography of Martin Luther King, and the science-fiction action-adventure, Godhead. After a couple of years as a reporter for the Toronto Star, Anderson studied film production at the Toronto Film School and Sheridan College and went on to be the writer/director/camera operator/editor on more than 40 short films before joining IATSE as a camera assistant in 2014. Anderson is currently in post-production on his first feature film as writer/director, the supernatural heist thriller, Le Corbeau.
