Scottish Canadian fantasy and science fiction author Dave Duncan’s THE TRAITOR’S SON and CORRIDOR TO NIGHTMARE, two posthumous manuscripts completed by the author before his death in 2018, have sold to Edward Willett at Shadowpaw by The Rights Factory agent Wayne Arthurson.
THE TRAITOR’S SON is a standalone science fiction novel about a colony world where everything that could go wrong already has. CORRIDOR TO NIGHTMARE is a standalone fantasy in which a woman is transported to land steeped in magic and violence.
"Dave Duncan was a well-loved writer of Science Fiction and Fantasy and a giant in the Canadian SFF community," says Arthurson. "To ensure that the two novels he completed before his death get to be published and read by his thousands of fans is an honour and a highlight of my career as a literary agent.”
THE TRAITOR’S SON and CORRIDOR TO NIGHTMARE are set for publication in late 2023 or early 2024.
