INTERNSHIPS An internship at The Rights Factory is an introduction to book publishing from the author’s perspective, through a variety of tasks, mostly editorially-driven. You will be paired with an agent and help them evaluate and assess submissions by potential clients. For existing clients, you will help edit manuscripts and nonfiction book proposals, and research market comparables as we prepare projects for submission. NOTE
Internships are currently remote.
Internships are a minimum of 6 months, part-time and we do offer an honorarium on completion.
Ideal interns will already have confidence in their editorial opinions, and any bookselling/rights-selling/publishing/legal or related business experience is a bonus.
