Natasha grew up exploring the mountains and beaches of British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon, where she perched on sea stacks and dangled her feet in alpine lakes while scribbling down poems and stories. 

After many years of teaching, Natasha followed her love of nature once more. Now she spends her days teaching outdoors, where she gets to learn and explore, and write stories with her students near her home in Western Washington. 

Natasha holds a BA in Medieval Studies from the University of Victoria and an MA in Education from Antioch University Seattle.
