Ren Dodd earned her MFA in Fiction at University of Houston, where she developed a thick skin and the ability to fearlessly and repeatedly revise. Her first book, A Cabinet of Wonders, was published long ago, before figured out that she wanted to be a horror novelist when she grew up. Ren currently works as a freelance content writer, primarily writing about mental health, medicine, and substance use. She lives in Columbus, Georgia with her daughter Willa, her husband, writer/professor Allen Gee, and her mother Margie.
