Tara Isabel Zambrano
Tara Isabel Zambrano is a writer of color and the author of a full-length flash collection, “Death, Desire , And Other Destinations” published by OKAY Donkey Press in 2020. Her micro fiction “New Old” won the Short-short fiction contest for The Southampton Review. Her flash piece “Mother Before” won the second place in the Bath Flash Fiction contest in Fall 2020. She has been a finalist in Bat City Review’s Fiction contest for her story, “Mumtaz in Burhanpur” and in Mid-American Review Fineline contest. Her stories have been placed in Wigleaf Top 50, Best Micro Fiction and Best Small Fictions and have been nominated for the Pushcart and Best of the Net awards several times. Tara lives in Texas with her husband and two kids and works as an integrated circuit designer during the day. She also holds an instrument rating for single engine aircraft.
