Erin K. Barnes’ GLORY GUITARS: Memoir of a ‘90s Teenage Punk Rock Grrrl, written under the nom de plume Gogo Germaine, the author’s debut memoir about sexual coming-of-age, remembering the soaring highs and visceral lows of her adolescence with frenetic joy, the urge to exalt even her worst experiences, and the eventual sense to tell the truth of being a rebel girl in a toxic male world; staccatoed with a synesthetic punk soundtrack, has been acquired for World English rights by Greg Gerding at University of Hell. Joan Marie Galat's ROAD ECOLOGY, in which the effect of roads on wildlife and ecosystems is explored alongside solutions that promote environmental harmony and efficient transportation networks, and young readers discover ways to contribute to a healthier planet, has been acquired by Andrew Wooldridge at Orca Books, with Kirstie Hudson editing. Publication is slated for spring 2024. The author is represented by Stacey Kondla.

Rotem Moscovich at Knopf has bought world rights to Hooray for DNA! by debut author Pauline Thompson, to be illustrated by Greg Pizzoli (The Watermelon Seed). A playful and rhythmic introduction to DNA, this picture book celebrates the similarities we share with all life forms and with each other. Publication is scheduled for spring 2023; Stacey Kondla at the Rights Factory represented the author, and Steven Malk at Writers House represented the illustrator.
